Your mail has a home.
It isn’t our servers.
Liltmail is an independent iPhone email client developed by Vinesh Kumar. This statement explains the app’s data flows and the website you’re visiting.
AI processing happens on your iPhone. Gmail still serves, syncs and sends your messages. Opening a link or choosing to load remote images contacts the relevant website.
Connecting your Gmail account
Google handles sign-in and asks for your consent. Liltmail requests Gmail access to read and organise mail, create and update drafts, and send messages when you explicitly choose Send. It does not ask for your Google password directly or create a separate Liltmail account.
The app connects directly to Google. We do not operate a server that receives or stores your mailbox content. Google processes your account and mail according to its own policies. Workspace administrators may restrict third-party access.
What stays on your iPhone
Downloaded messages, attachment files, local drafts, attention preferences, reminders and generated AI results are stored locally. Credentials are managed by Google’s iOS sign-in SDK using Keychain. Mail caches use iOS Data Protection and are excluded from app backups.
The cache is bounded. Drafts awaiting sync are protected from normal cache eviction. Attachment bytes are downloaded when requested.
On-device AI
Optional summaries, attention suggestions, reply drafts and tone rewrites use Apple’s on-device Foundation Models framework. Email content is not sent to an external inference service or a Private Cloud Compute session. There is no cloud AI fallback. Attachments are not supplied to the model.
We do not use Gmail data to train AI models. Generated text can be wrong; review the source messages and every draft before sending. AI availability depends on your iPhone, language, Apple Intelligence settings and model readiness. Core mail does not depend on AI being available.
Your controls
- Remote email images are blocked by default. Loading images may reveal your IP address and request information to the image host.
- Local reminders use generic notification copy. Denying notification permission does not disable the Later list.
- Clear downloaded mail removes cached mail and AI results while protecting local drafts and retaining local reminder references.
- Disconnecting removes local account data, drafts, cached mail, AI results and reminders, with a warning about unsynced drafts. Authorisation is revoked where possible. Gmail messages and App Store purchases are not deleted.
You can also review or revoke app access in your Google Account connections.
Purchases and diagnostics
When available, the optional Pro unlock uses Apple StoreKit. Apple processes payment and purchase history. The app reads verified purchase entitlement; it does not receive payment-card details.
The current app contains no advertising or third-party analytics. Mail bodies, subjects, addresses, credentials and generated replies are not intentionally included in developer logs or diagnostic payloads. Any future optional data collection will be disclosed before it is introduced.
This website
Cloudflare serves this website and processes request information, including IP addresses and browser request metadata, to deliver and protect the pages. This site adds no analytics scripts, advertising trackers or signup forms. Website request processing is separate from your Gmail mailbox, which is never sent to this website.
Support and questions
If you contact the developer, the information you include in your email is used to respond to your request. Please do not send passwords, sign-in codes or private message content. Contact the developer about Liltmail privacy.
Changes to this statement
This page will be updated when the app’s data flows change. Material changes will be communicated in the app or through its release information before new data collection begins.
